We are seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Project Manager to oversee active construction projects from pre-construction planning through completion.

Position Overview

The Residential Remodeling Project Manager is responsible for coordinating schedules, subcontractors, materials, budgets, and client communication throughout the life of a project.

This role requires strong construction knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining quality standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Manage residential remodeling, renovation, and addition projects from start to finish
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries
Develop and maintain project schedules
Track project budgets and assist with change order management
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
Maintain project documentation, daily logs, photos, and reports
Communicate project updates with homeowners and internal team members
Identify and resolve project issues to minimize delays
Ensure job sites remain organized, professional, and compliant with company standards
Collaborate with design, estimating, and administrative staff throughout project execution

Qualifications

5+ years of residential construction project management experience
Experience managing remodeling, renovation, or home addition projects
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience using Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction management software
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 10 Certification
Construction Management degree or related education
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Position summary and primary accountability

The Residential Construction Project Manager is the single point of accountability for planning, coordinating, executing, monitoring and closing defined residential construction projects on behalf of Stella Construction & Home Services. The role is responsible for translating project objectives into an actionable plan, organizing and directing internal teams and external trades, and ensuring that scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements are satisfied and formally accepted by stakeholders.

Primary accountability includes scope definition and control, cost estimating and budget management, schedule creation and adherence, resource allocation and coordination, risk identification and mitigation, issue resolution, contractual compliance and stakeholder communication. Success is measured by delivering projects on time, within budget, to specified quality and scope, and achieving stakeholder acceptance and contractual closeout.

Objective 1: Deliver residential projects on schedule and within approved budget.\n
- KR1.1: 90% of projects reach practical completion within ±5% of baseline schedule.
